We are voluntary members of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA). As members we are governed and follow the highest standards of conduct. For our fully managed property Tenants deposits are legally protected, we are members of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) and the Property Ombudsman (TPO, membership number D03603).We also have an excellent working relationship with Exeter City Council Environmental Health Division, who ensure the HMO Licences (Houses of Multiple Occupation) and grant permission for Landlord-owned properties to be rented to students.
Renting a Managed property has the benefit of a dedicated Tenancy Management Team to handle their day-to-day issues, a 24-hour helpline with emergency contact details should a problem arise and the assurance that your property is fully compliant with all safety regulations.
You will be required to act as guarantor for your son or daughter’s share of the rent. Your son or daughter will be required to sign an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement which has joint and several obligations.
